The Bed For Me foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017/2018, based in Valparaiso, Florida, serving Okaloosa and Walton Counties in Northwest Florida .
Its mission: to ensure that children aged 2–18 have a proper place to sleep by delivering new bedding kits—including a twin mattress, bed frame, pillow, sheets, and comforter—at no cost to eligible families facing economic hardship or displacement .
The American Legion hosted a successful poker run to raise funds and awareness for their organization, bringing the community together for a great cause. The event generated over $12,000 in donations, supporting the Legion’s continued efforts to serve veterans and the local community.
